Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Using a mixer, mix together the sweet potato purée, eggs, flour, sugar, butter, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract.

  2. Add in the salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg, whipping the mixture until it’s blended well.

  3. You may need to scrape the sides of your mixing bowl and mix again.

  4. Pour the mixture into your prepared and unbaked pie crust.

  5. Bake the pie at 350° for about an hour, or until it’s firm.*

  6. Allow the pie to cool.**

  7. Once your pie has cooled, slice it, add a bit of whipped cream, and you’re all set to enjoy every bite with a cup of coffee.

Recipe Notes

*When you go to take it out of the oven, your pie should still be a little bit jiggly. If it’s more than just a little jiggly, it needs more time in the oven.

**This pie is even better after chilling for 24 hours.
