Making this buttery pie crust is so simple and easy and requires just a few minutes of bake time.

First, melt the butter. Then mix together the melted butter and flour, forming a dough.

If your pecans aren't chopped, finely chop them.

  1. Why is my crust always so hard? I’ve made this numerous times and the family loves it but I finally switched to a Graham cracker crust because I can not get my pecan crust is so hard and won’t cut for serving. What am I doing wrong?
