No bake peanut butter bars are really yummy cereal bars made with PLANTERS Dry Roasted Peanuts, candy corn, cereal, peanut butter, and corn syrup. They have a chewy texture and a sweet and salty flavor that just can’t be beat.

I love a good no bake snack, especially snack bars or granola bars, and these no bake snacks are super easy to make. They also fit the bill for both Halloween and fall festivities.

You can even have a little bit of fun decorating these little no bake desserts by drizzling a little chocolate or white chocolate, then add a piece of candy corn on top.

WHERE TO BUY CANDY CORN AND PLANTERS PEANUTS

I picked up both candy corn and PLANTERS peanuts at my favorite Dollar General in town. It’s nice to know that Planter’s Peanuts are always available when I stop by to pick up odds and ends we may need.

PLANTERS peanuts are available for $2.50 on the week of Tuesday, September 30th and Wednesday, October 28th at Dollar General, where you can get PLANTERS peanuts, candy corn, and everything you need for Halloween this year.

Dollar General is one of the few stores in my area to already have a Halloween aisle with Halloween candy and decor available for purchase – and it’s affordable.

ALTERNATIVE SNACK YOU CAN MAKE WITH CANDY CORN AND PEANUTS

Have I mentioned how much I love candy corn and peanuts together? It’s one of our favorite fall snacks.

You get the sweet and salty flavors together, and you’ve got the makings of a great snack (especially perfect for a kayaking trip).

Just mix a container of PLANTERS peanuts and a bag of candy corn together in a bowl, and you have a delicious snack the whole family will love.

PLANTERS peanuts are the perfect ingredient to add into any Halloween snacks you may be making this spooky time of the year.

DOES IT MATTER WHAT KIND OF CEREAL I USE IN MY CEREAL BARS?

While I used a corn flake cereal, you can use toasted oats or crisp rice as well.

The texture will be quite a bit different between the three, but it’s really up to you to decide what texture you want for your cereal bars.

I knew I wanted a slightly lighter texture with a little bit of crunch, plus flavors that complement both the peanuts and the candy corn.

TIPS FOR HOW TO MAKE NO BAKE PEANUT BUTTER BARS

There really are only 3 steps to making these no bake easy desserts.

mixing together no bake peanut butter bars ingredients, including corn flake cereal, PLANTERS peanuts, and candy corn in large blue mixing bowl

  • Start by mixing together the cereal, PLANTERS peanuts, and candy corn in a large mixing bowl. That way you’re ready to go after you’ve cooked your sticky syrup mixture.
  • Melt together the peanut butter and corn syrup on the stove, constantly stirring to keep it from scorching on the bottom of the pan. The ingredients will kinda melt together and form more of a syrupy liquid.

  • Then you’ll just remove that peanut butter deliciousness from the stove, give it a good stir, and pour it over the cereal mixture.
  • Stir everything together really well, making sure all of your cereal, peanuts, and candy corn are coated with the peanut butter syrup.

  • Put the mixture into a greased dish (8″x8″ is a good size for this), and pat it down really well.
  • Allow your pan of no bake snacks to cool… You can even put it in the fridge if you’d like it to cool quicker.

And that’s it… Once the bars have cooled, they’re ready to slice! Then you can drizzle with chocolate and decorate with candy corn on top!
