Thumbing through Grandma's recipe box again a couple weeks ago, I noticed a card that had the words, “Good, Good, Good” written across the top. When Grandma said it was good, it was usually really good. I don't know how I hadn't seen this recipe before, especially considering our love for anything bread-related, especially breadsticks. These were super easy, taking maybe 5 minutes to prep. Enjoy!

Easy Bread Sticks

Easy Bread Sticks

  • 1/2 stick butter, melted
  • 2 tsp Salad Supreme mix, McCormick seasoning, found in seasonings aisle
  • 4 hot dog buns

  1. Mix Salad Supreme with melted butter, and spread on bread sticks made from hot dog buns.
  2. Heat oven to 300 degrees, and heat bread to desired crispness. (Grandma says to place bread sticks in oven; then turn oven off, and leave breadsticks in oven until well done or crisp. We found we needed to heat them for about 10 minutes.) Enjoy with pasta, salad, soup, etc.
