– bacon grease – garlic, minced – yellow onion, minced – ground beef – ketchup – Worcestershire sauce – light brown sugar – frozen corn – mashed potatoes – cheddar cheese, shredded – Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
Sauté garlic and onions in a large skillet.
Add ground beef and cook on medium for 15-20 minutes.
Drain off excess oil.
Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar to meat mixture.
Let simmer for 5 minutes.
Add a layer of corn on top of the meat mixture.
Add a thick layer of mashed potatoes.
Top off with a final layer of shredded cheese.
Bake at 350°F for 20-30 minutes.
