APPLE BUTTER

– apples – water – molasses – sugar – light brown sugar – ground nutmeg – ground cloves – ground allspice – ground cinnamon – lemon juice – vanilla extract

You'll need...

CORE, PEEL, AND SLICE THE APPLES, REMOVING WORM HOLES AND BAD SPOTS.

TRANSFER THE SLICED APPLES TO YOUR DUTCH OVEN.

ADD MOLASSES, SUGAR, BROWN SUGAR, SPICES, LEMON JUICE, AND VANILLA EXTRACT.

STIR EVERYTHING TOGETHER WELL.

BRING THE MIXTURE TO A BOIL, THEN REDUCE TO LOW AND SIMMER 'TIL SOFTENED.

BLEND THE APPLES INTO SMOOTH APPLE BUTTER.

POUR THE MIXTURE INTO HOT JARS, LEAVING 1/2" OF HEAD ROOM.

PROCESS THE JARS IN A BOILING WATER BATH CANNER FOR 20 MINUTES.

AFTER ALLOWING THE JARS TO REST FOR 24 HOURS, SERVE AND ENJOY!
