WHY MAKE HOMEMADE ICE CREAM?

–QUICK AND EASY TO MAKE –ONLY 8 SIMPLE INGREDIENTS –MORE AFFORDABLE  –MAKE IT IN 30 MINUTES OR LESS!

–WHOLE MILK –CANE SUGAR –SEA SALT –HEAVY CREAM –VANILLA EXTRACT –PEPPERMINT EXTRACT –CRUSHED OREO COOKIES –GREEN FOOD COLORING

Whisk the milk, sugar and salt ’til the sugar is dissolved.

Add cream, vanilla, peppermint, and green food coloring, if desired.

Turn on the ice cream freezer and pour the mixture into the freezer bowl.

Be sure to pre-freeze the ice cream canister that goes with your ice cream maker. Otherwise, the ice cream won’t freeze!

Pro Tip!

Let churn until thickened, about 20 minutes.

Add the OREO cookies and let churn some more.

Scoop the soft-served ice cream into bowls and serve!

Prefer a firmer ice cream? Transfer the ice cream into an airtight container in the freezer for at least 2-3 hours.
