• 1 Batch Cookie Dough • 1 Batch Homemade Icing • Food Coloring • All-Purpose Flour • Rolling Pin • Cookie Cutters • Sprinkles & Nonpareils 

You'll need...

Whip up a batch of homemade cutout cookie dough and let chill overnight.

On a floured surface, roll the dough out to about 1/4 to 1/2-inch thickness.

Cut out the cookies with floured cookie cutters, and bake them at 425ºF for 8-10 minutes.

While the cookies are cooling, mix up the cookie icing until smooth, creamy and spreadable.

Add food coloring of your choice to the icing, if desired.

Optional Step

Decorate the sugar cookies with icing, sprinkles, and nonpareils.
