These easy, delicious soda bread cinnamon scones are perfect for that yummy St. Patrick's Day treat! 

Cinnamon  Raisin Soda Scones


4 cups all-purpose flour 3 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon cinnamon 1 tablespoon baking powder 3/4 teaspoon  baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup unsalted butter, cold 1 large egg 2 cups buttermilk 1 cup raisins


Whisk together flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Cut cold, sliced butter into the dry ingredients.

In a separate bowl, beat the egg and buttermilk together.

Mix the egg mixture into the dry ingredients.

Fold the raisins  into the batter.

Drop, by the spoonful,  onto a parchment paper  lined baking sheet.

Bake at 400°F for 30-40 minutes, until golden brown.
