INSTANT POT SAUSAGE AND RICE
– olive oil – garlic, minced – yellow onion, minced – sliced sausage link – salt – black pepper – smoked paprika – chicken broth – long grain rice – frozen peas, thawed
Sauté olive oil, garlic, and onion in the Instant Pot until soft.
Add sausage slices and brown for 1-2 minutes.
Add seasonings, rice, and chicken broth to sausage mixture.
Pressure cook for 5 minutes with a natural release.
Once released, remove lid and stir in thawed peas.
Put the lid back on and let the mixture sit in its own warmth for another 5 minutes.
Stir and fluff the rice before serving.
