Quick & Easy

–GARLIC AND ONIONS –BELL PEPPERS –HAM BONE OR HAM HOCKS –15 BEAN SOUP MIX –LONG-GRAIN RICE –SALT & PEPPER

Ingredients:

Sauté onion, garlic and peppers for 5-10 minutes, ’til softened.

Add the ham bone or hocks and 15 bean soup mix to the onion mixture, and add water ’til covered.

Bring to a boil, and then let simmer on low for 1 & 1/2 hours.

Remove hocks from the water, pull the meat from the bone and chop.

Add chopped meat back to the water, along with rice, salt and pepper, cooking for another 15-20 minutes.

Once your 15 bean and ham soup is thoroughly cooked, serve and enjoy!
