Oh to go camping again. I can’t tell you how badly I want to go camping right now, but I’m patiently biding my time until we can find a free weekend to take off with our tent, stakes, and camping gear in tow. Meanwhile, how about a list of great places to pitch your tent and enjoy a little R&R, camping style?
Some of my friends and fellow bloggers have shared their favorite places, and then I’ve thrown in a few extra locations you may want to consider adding to your camping bucket list. My family loves tent camping, especially backcountry camping. When we lived out West, we had the opportunity to go backcountry camping, where we’d just go out into the wilds, find a spot, and pitch a tent. No facilities, no running water, just us and the great outdoors. We haven’t done that in so long…. The stories I could tell of some of our adventures, some of which were hilarious…. another post, another time.
Hopefully, this little list will put some new destinations on your travel radar. I know I’m adding a few of these destinations to our travel bucket list. Let’s go on a camping adventure, shall we?
